Almost 16 000 abstracts and links to research about the global international education sector. Research dates from 1990 onwards, with over 500 new studies added each year.
Education is now Australia’s third-largest export sector and the country’s leading service export sector overall, with the economic impact of international education reaching AUD $32.2 billion in 2017.
Have you ever wondered about the impact of international students on the Australian economy? Or the push/pull factors driving international students’ destination choice? Do you need to know what courses are popular among international students?
These are some queries that can be answered by the research held in this database.
The database is used by international education providers, policy makers, academics and graduate and undergraduate students in both Australia and overseas. It provides a bank of evidence based research literature to inform best practice policy, programs and teaching in the industry.
The sponsor will support the work of the database to reach influential educational decision makers.
This project encompasses industry scoping, research monitoring, text analysis, social media information dissemination, and database construction and curation.
